Q. Can Biodiesel be used in a Diesel Engine without any fuel system upgrades?

A. Yes, but because Biodiesel is actually a solvent, it could cause swelling to the fuel line, creating problems later. It is better to do it right the first time. "If you don't have the time to do it right the first time, when will you have time to fix it?"

Q. Once I start to use Biodiesel, can I continue to use regular diesel if I need to?

A. Of course. You can always switch back to regular diesel. Often times, people like to add an extra fuel tank, one for diesel, one for biodiesel.

Q. Can I run my gasoline engine on biodiesel?

A. NO! Gasoline and diesel are two completely different fuels. However, at Tierra Motors, we can do an engine swap for you, and in most cases replace the gasoline engine with a diesel engine.

Q. When will Tierra Motors begin to do vegetable oil system installation?

A.Tierra Motors is now doing vegetable oil conversions!

Q. Does Tierra Motors sell Biodiesel?

A. Again, we are in the process of creating our own biodiesel called "Tierra Power", but in order to perfect our "brew" we are still experimenting with it.

Q. A lot of places that sell Biodiesel sell it for more than the price of regular Diesel. How does that benefit me?

A. Again, we are working on Tierra Power to make Biodiesel more efficient, both financially and environmentally.
