Who We Are?
In the Spanish Language, Tierra generally means "Soil" or "Dirt", and literally translates to "Earth". Biodiesel and most other Biofuels are made quite literally from vegetables such as corn. Your old vegetable waste can be directly converted into Biodiesel, and once filtered, can be used in your car as a cleaner and cheaper alternative to gas and diesel. Hence, converting or upgrading you vehicle would be great for the TIERRA!
What We Do?
Tierra Motors allows diesel engine vehicles to run more efficiently on Biodiesel. A common misconception today is that many people believe that just because their vehicle has a diesel engine, it makes it okay for them to simply substitute with Biodiesel, when in fact, this could lead to many problems in the future. Because Biodiesel acts as a solvent, it can very easily deteriorate the rubber hoses, pipes and other fuel related components. At Tierra Motors, we make sure your vehicle, whether it is a car, truck, boat, or RV, runs smoothly on Biodiesel.
As well as making Biodiesel more efficient for vehicles, we also convert fuel systems to run on WVO (waste vegetable oil), SVO (straight Vegetable Oil) and other forms of Alternative Energy.
Why Use Biofuels?
In essence, biofuels are solar energy. Plants use the sun's energy to photosynthesize CO2 into a solid energy source. When we use biofuels, we are using that stored energy. As long as the sun is shining, we will be able to grow plants for fuel. Petroleum is a limited resource. Eventually, oil production will slow as it becomes more depleted, affecting everything in our society.
